The official rope of FDNY Personal Escape System, the FireTech is a 7.5mm escape rope made with 100% Technora which will retain core strength after exposure to elevated temps and offers a longer burn through time than mixed fiber ropes.

  • Heat resistant to 932° Fahrenheit
  • Excellent resistance to abrasion, cuts, and chemicals such as acids and alkalis.

    Note: Sterling's FireTech is the official and only rope being used in the FDNY personal escape system. It is not included in the Petzl EXO system.
