Athlete Bio

Climbing is my main passion but I have other great interests such as cinema, reading, writing, photography, architecture.

I try to do what I like, but I can (too) easily change my mind of what I like. I try to have an ecological behavior. When the motivation is here, I don't have any problem with working ! It's all in your mind...

How did you get started climbing ?

At school (sport lessons)

How old were you when you started ?

14

Who or what inspired you to start climbing?

Jean-Minh Trinh Thieu

And some great climbers I've never meet (only by books) : Wolfgang Güllich, Jerry Moffat, Jibé Tribout, Ben Moon, Didier Raboutou

Also some friends for their great motivation : Seb Hemery, Cathy Wagner, Olivier Froideval, Thomas Leleu, Pierre Bollinger

And the beauty of rock

Who served as your inspiration in life?

Many people : climbers of course, friends, family, teachers...

What was your first outdoor climb?

A small granite crag (in Vosges mountains, not far from where I'm from) called "La Rothlach"

Any training advice or suggestions?

Be motivated. And everything will be easier

If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?

A third arm

If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? (no wishing for more wishes)

I wish I could climb and love climbing all my life

Having kids with such a great passion

Life could be longer

What was your favorite childhood cartoon?

Bambi (1942' Disney animated film)
