Who or what inspired you to start climbing? I always loved outdoor activities like hiking and backcountry skiing, but wanted to have the skills to do more technical ascents. What do you do when you're not climbing? Play with my dog, backcountry ski, cook, read, mountain bike.
Any training advice or suggestions? Climb a lot, take frequent rest days and don't be hard on yourself!
What do you feel is your best accomplishment, outside of climbing? Writing a thesis for my Master's Degree entitled Environmental Controls on the Formation and Isotopic Composition of a Laminated Tufa in Red Butte Canyon, Utah.
What do you feel is your best accomplishment within climbing? Facilitating an exciting, challenging and positive climbing experience for literally hundreds of people through my job as a climbing guide.
