How did you get started climbing? How old were you when you started?
Since I was a little girl, I want to practice a sport at the high level, to surpass myself. After trying sports like karate and gymnastic, I began climbing at 16 years old and directly I loved it, I pass from 5a to 7a in one year.
At 16 years I did my first comp in Belgium and to the general surprise I won.
It motivated me and gave me the drive to continue the competitions.
I participated in the Belgium youth championship then to the Benelux youth championship and as I won them, I could participate at the youth World championship in 1992 in Switzerland.
I went there without any objectives and I didn’t know it was the world level, and I won it too!
Who or what inspired you to start climbing?
The fact of rising by its own physical strength and also by using the head ;-)

The great 80’s sports stars like Nadia Comaneci, Carl Lewis, and when I started climbing, Lynn Hill.

It was in Belgium, in Freyr, with friends. I did multi-pitches, it was very impressive.

For the moment, I’m studying to be a trainer.
Any training advice or suggestions?
A very important thing is the regularity in your training.
What do you feel is your best accomplishment, outside of climbing?
What do you feel is your best accomplishment within climbing?

If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be?
Keep health; keep love and doing 9a ;-)
